Class Description ? Through Active listening we enable others to the inner understanding, knowledge, realization and guidance necessary to solve their problems and move forward in life. This is both an art and a science. If we really want to help others, we needmto perfect this basis of all pyschotherapeutic techniques.
What will be covered in the class? ? We will explore the process of moving from the superficial emotions or annoying stimuli back through the beliefs, secondary emotions, core beliefs and childhood experiences that may be causing the inner blockages towards happiness, peace or effective manifestation of goals.
Five Things you will learn from this class:
1. How to specify the emotions the client wants to work with. The prerequisites for employing active listening.
2. How to discover the beliefs and secondary emotions behind those original emotions.
3. Discovering and dealing with inner resistance towards change and feeling better.
4. How to present the client with options for getting free from those emotions.
5. How to combine Energy Psychology techniques with this cognitive approach.
(The last subject will require more classes.)
