PROLOGUE 1
I. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE MIND AND THE BODY
We start off with an analysis of the relationship between the body, the energy body, the mind, the soul and the spirit.
II. HOW THE MIND GETS PROGRAMMED
We examine the ways in which the mind is programmed during the childhood years through words and experiences and by drawing various childhood conclusions.
III. THE RESULTS OF CHILDHOOD PROGRAMMING
An analysis of the basic categories of childhood programmings. I an unable, I am unworthy. I must have, I am not safe.
IV. THE FIRST STEPS TOWARDS FREEDOM
A method of self observation, self analysis and identification of the beliefs which are creating the problems and limitations.
V. HOW TO ANALYZE YOUR BELIEFS
An in depth questionnaire which allows the individual to discover deeper core beliefs which obstruct his happiness, love, peace and inner fulfillment.
VI. ABILITIES, TALENTS AND POWERS
An analysis of beliefs which suppress our creative potential.
VII. LEARNING TO LOVE OURSELVES
Beliefs which limit our self acceptance and self love, and how we can change them.
VIII. OPENING OUR HEARTS TO LOVE
Beliefs which prevent us from loving others more unconditionally, and how we can overcome them.
IX. OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND LIFE
Beliefs which make us feel distant from God. How we can feel more intimate with God.
X. WE SEE ONLY THE PAST
This is the first of fifteen phrases adapted by the author from the 365 phrases of the Book of Miracles designed to free us from self-limiting beliefs and perceptions which make our lives and our selves less beautiful that they could be.
It is suggested that we focus in the experience of each phrase many times each day for a week as we mentally repeat it in various environments such as our home, work place, while commuting and traveling, with friends and relatives, in nature etc.
We are asked to record daily our experiences and discoveries. When we have digested one phrase, we then go onto the next (usually after one week.) This first phrase reminds us that everything which we perceive is tainted and distorted by our previous programmings about that.
XI. THERE ARE NO NEUTRAL THOUGHTS
All thoughts are either based on the core belief that I am this limited vulnerable body and personality or that I am an immortal divine being. Every thought strengthens the one belief system or the other.
XII. LIFE HAS A MEANING
Although we often do not perceive life as so, every being, object, event and situation plays its own very vital part in the process of creation.
XIII. OUR EMOTIONS ARE BASED ON OUR FALSE PERCEPTIONS OF REALITY
Most of our emotions are the result of our ego centered distortions of reality, in which we take most things which happen personally.
XIV. NEGATIVITY RESULTS FROM IDENTIFICATION WITH THE BODY AND MIND
Negative emotions result from the fact that I fear. I fear because I believe that my being is limited to this body and mind, and that when they are in danger (or I believe so), then the totality of my being is also in danger. Hence are born fear, anxiety, jealousy, anger, hate, depression etc.
XV. WE ARE NOT ALONE IN EXPERIENCING THE EFFECTS OF OUR THOUGHTS
Each thought becomes a vibration which radiates outward and experienced by the whole affecti ng them through the law of sympathetic vibration. Hence the the importance of selecting positive constructing thoughts for the benefit of our selves, our loved ones and the whole.
XVI. WE DO NOT PERCEIVE WHAT IS FOR OUR OWN BEST INTERESTS
Often that which we desire, seek after, pray for and even fight for is not exactly what is best for our lasting happiness or spiritual evolution.
XVII. EVERYTHING I SEE EXISTS FOR THE LIBERATION OF SPIRIT FROM MATTER
All objects, beings, events and situations exist specifically as props in the drama set for the soul's experiences on the physical plane which are actually designed to offer the soul an opportunity for self realization and eventual liberation from ignorance and fear.
XVIII. I AM DETERMINED TO SEE
Only an intense desire to see and experience the truth will generate sufficient energy required to cut through the heavy veil of illusory programming.
XIX. ABOVE ALL I WANT TO SEE THE TRUTH
Only when this desire is above all others can the mind focus sufficiently.
XX. I AM LOVE
When I identify with love I can feel no fear nor can I feel impure or unworthy. I am then in touch with my true spiritual power.
XXI. GOD IS EVERYTHING I SEE
This is perhaps the most powerful truth. That all I see is a manifestation of divine energy. All is divine, and nothing can exist which is not of divine origin.
It is suggested that we focus on the experience of each phrase many times each day for a week as we mentally repeat it in various environments. We are asked to record daily our experiences and discoveries.
XXII. MY MIND IS A PART OF GOD'S - I AM DIVINE
Even my mind is a part of Divine Creation. My thoughts are also such.
XXIII. THERE IS NOTHING MY DIVINITY CANNOT DO
As an expression of the Divine, I am a cocreator with God. I can focus my light and positive intention by imagining light permeating beings, objects and situations while holding in mind my wish for their alignment with the highest possible good for themselves and the whole.
XXIV. I AM A BLESSED CHILD OF GOD
As a part of creation, I am deeply and intimately related to the Creator. This relationship might be compared to the child - parent relationship. The child inherently holds all qualities of the parent. The child is innocent and pure.
XXV. GOD IS WHEREVER I AM
God the Divine Essence is not limited to some form or building, but is omnipresent in all places and situations.
