Travel                    I was born in Cairo, Egypt and I was brought up in Khartoum, Sudan. When I was 12 we moved to Athens, Greece. There I lived until I was 41.I traveled to England, Ireland, France, Spain and India. I now live in Surrey,England.

I had a difficult childhood, having to cope with my parents' unhappy relationship.

As a child I experienced extreme fear, helplessness, guilt, and an overwhelming responsibility to protect my mother from my father's aggression. Also, rejection and abandonment from my father.

As an adult, I have always been afraid of close relationships. Also of people hurting me emotionally.

I feel insufficient to stand on my feet and contribute in society. Whether this is due to lack of self-esteem and self-confidence, I don't know.

I feel afraid to recognize in myself its potential, or to deserve happiness, but I don't know Why. My existential quest has led me to search for God. Spirituality is the key to my peace of mind. I hope to become able to love myself enough to love others.
