This can be done through reverse psychodrama in which the facilitator plays us and we play the role of those from whom we are asking forgiveness. The facilitator asks forgiveness from us explaining all that we had expressed earlier. We then forgive the facilitator, or in other words, ourselves. Remember that we do not need the otheršs forgiveness, we need only to be able to ask for forgiveness. If we have asked for forgiveness and the other is not ready to forgive, this is no problem for us. We have done our work and we are free and with a clear conscience. He has the right to suffer, holding on to it if he wants to. 2. We can do what ever we can on the practical level to correct any wrong that we have caused. We might need to return some money or help someone in some way. 3. We may decide to do something selfless so as to counter our self-centeredness such as serve the poor, the orphans, the blind, the elderly etc. It is best if we do this as anonymously as possible. Remember that we are not doing this to gain merit points with God, so that we can get into heaven. We are doing this because we will then be freer from the main source of all our problems and the main obstacle towards happiness and evolution - our self-centeredness. 5. We can write a letter to our inner child explaining to him the various truths concerning his divine origin and divine destination. 6. We can remind ourselves frequently through written affirmations, deep relaxations and signs and note of the following logical and spiritual truths.
